From June 3^rd to 5^th 2024, the Pasteur Network convened a meeting entitled "Climate and Health" in Dakar, Senegal, held concurrently with the centennial celebration of the Pasteur Institute of Dakar.

The primary focus of this event was to explore ways to prepare for and combat climate-driven crises that affect infectious diseases. This included the creation of a Climate-Health Observatory Accelerator Program, which encompasses fellowships related to this topic within the Pasteur Network. Dr. Rahim Sorouri, the Director of the Pasteur Institute of Iran, and Dr. Fariborz Bahrami, a faculty member of the institute were  invited to participate in the convening.
